Who we are

We are a group of people of various ages living in different German-speaking areas.

​

What unites us is a love of Africa – many of us have lived and worked on the African continent.

We all believe that there are projects which just have to be supported and that the FAME Medical Centre in Karatu, Tanzania is one of those.

​

That is why we have committed ourselves to assisting the team in Karatu in fundraising so they can continue to provide high quality, patient-orientated medical care and train the staff to ensure the centre’s long-term sustainability.

​

In a world where the gap between rich and poor seems to be widening, we want to play our part to ensure that more people are getting a fairer chance in life.

 

It makes us smile when our involvement helps open horizons and creates friendships across borders.

We are all volunteers, so every donation we receive is passed directly on to the FAME clinic in Karatu.

​

As an organisation, we meet the requirements for charitable status in Germany and are registered as such.
